Our foreign electricians contribute to the complete electrical solution. And what about the electrical installations? That construction project is also impressive! In a nutshell: 1300 km of structured copper cabling and 12 km of fiber optics, 2325 badge readers for access control, 6300 nurse call devices, nearly 10,400 smoke detectors and 3 emergency generators of 1500 kVA to ensure continuity of services in all circumstances. The lighting will be controlled via the KNX protocol. This offers a great deal of flexibility in the operation of the lamps and enables significant energy savings.
The ‘Grand Hôpital de Charleroi’ will be the first new generation hospital and, with 900 beds, one of the largest in Belgium. The 145,000 m² complex will be built on a 17-hectare park site and will have a car park with 1,500 spaces.
